I know this video is a bit old but only in the end of 2017 I could manage to make this old computer run and finish editing it. In 2013, the Miami Marathon was sponsored by ING. That year I did not run or walked the race, my presence was to support and cheer for the runners. It was fun and my video will share some moments from that warm morning in January with part of the Miami running community.
“Leggings Lounge Yoga + HappyHour is a monthly 6-month series popping up in sunny Miami, FL. This 2-part event features a complimentary 1 hour yoga session, taught by the industry’s top instructors and/or yoga studios, followed by a 1 hour refreshing happy hour.” ( https://leggingsloungemiami.com )
Yes! Another great event on the neighborhood and of course, I would not miss it. Mat ready, I take the path to the Metro Mover, public and free transportation . 3 stations and 8 minutes later, I arrive at the 5th street station, the nearest to the W Hotel (located on Brickell Ave right by the bridge). From the station, it takes 5 minute or less (depends how fast you can walk) to arrive at the W Hotel.
From April to September, the class has a priceless view since it happens on the 50th floor/ rooftop and it gets “sold out” quickly, the flow goes very well with the happy hour and that temporary feeling that you are meditating on “top of the world”. Obviously I could not pass the opportunity to do a time lapse in one of the classes and this is how it looks, I hope you enjoy it.
For more info about the event, please follow their official webpage: https://leggingsloungemiami.com and I will see you in 2018!
“The Seed Food and Wine is not just a festival, we are a movement, a community of ideas and passionate people committed to elevating the conversation around plant-based foods, sustainability, conscious living, vegan living and the welfare of animals.” (for more info please see https://www.seedfoodandwine.com/ )
Luckily, the festival also offered a free run and yoga before opening the doors for their main event on Saturday. I did have time to set up the yoga video since is a time lapse and easily to edit/finish.
A few month ago, I posted about the workout with Muscle Milk with some images and FINALLY my computer decided to work (after crashing tons of times) and video is ready to be watched! The entire workout was about 50 minutes long and here I offer you a 5 min of everything that happened that day.
Brickell Run Club happens every Tuesday at 7pm. Running since 2010, located in the heart of Brickell, in 2016 we are celebrating also another number – 300. That is the amount of times this group got together to run. 300 Tuesdays. Weather Proof. More than 30.000 runners had signed up to join us at one point. We run Miami and this time, we ran to a pool! Here is what happened from my GoPro POV. And don’t forget, Run Clubs in Miami are 100% FREE! Join us.
Well…there is always a first time! Running 2 5ks in the same weekend was new and actually easier than I thought.
Starting on Saturday at Goals not Guns 5k Run, Walk or Pedal in downtown Miami. Thanks to Mr Frank Carollo and Frankie Ruiz, the runners could register for free and, we had fun taking over parts of downtown, little havana and back to bayfront park.
And on Sunday, the Tribe took over West Kendall for another run: GoRun5k.
This was a very special event, combined with the store’s 1st year Anniversary. Pure and great vibes got together for a great party after the race. Here I share some images from that amazing and fun morning.
I might be short on words to describe how I feel after this race. First time doing it and I can’t wait for next year already. Its fun and overwhelming it’s a Huge global party for a great cause.
Thank you RedBull.
May 7th 2017 only 365 days away! See you next year.
Thanks to SouthBeachTopChefs.com , I could attend SOBEWFF once again and this year, the event was serving one of my favorites ‘latin food’ very popular in Miami: Croquetas – with a side of champagne, the 3 hour event was something… I will stop talking so you can watch some highlights of that lovely Saturday night at the Paradise Plaza, Palm Court / Midtown.
The first YogArt Event of 2016 was relocated inside the spectacular Moore Building (according to the weather forecast, the event accommodated us to be dry and safely inside during the class) Located next to the Palm Court in Design District, it had plenty space to fit the yogis looking for a new experience during that class. Magic City Hippies kept us dancing in between yoga poses and movements. A class like I never had before. And let’s not forget, I was sipping on some good sparkling wine. Sharing some photos and a video.
Save your spot today, don’t miss the next event: http://www.yogartevent.com/yogart-design-district#about-design-district
Yes, I killed myself dancing at LIC Miami. And the next day, I showed up at Wynwood Yard at noon, looking for a “recovery” Yoga… if that was even possible. The Yoga Master leading us? DJ Gina Turner (Yeah… Lic was over but I was still in that EDM mood)
“YogArt presented by Chȃteau d’Esclans and The Sacred Space Miami is a brand new monthly series taking place in the chic Palm Court of Miami’s Design District. An extension of the popular YogArt during Art Basel and YogArt presents Buddhas & Bellinis during the Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE, this new series will kick-off on October 28, 2015. Led by South Florida’s own Dawn B, sessions will take place on the fourth Wednesday of every month. Doors open at 6pm, event begins at 6:30pm, 7:30pm class ends and healthy bites and drinks until 8pm.” by yogartevent.com – ( For more info please check the link: http://www.yogartevent.com/#yogartdesigndistrict)
Happy 2016! Before the year ended, on 12.29.15, the Baptist Health South Florida Brickell Run Club had a special run as part of the training for the Miami Marathon upcoming on 01.24.2016. The workout: run the MacArthur bridge twice (or at least once like I did). About 250 runners registred for this free event provided by BHSFBRC. Since the Venetian Causeway is out of the Marathon course, we (yes, we cause I will be running the half marathon for a very special reason, wait for it) will be running over the MacArthur Causeway both ways (right at the start, on the first mile and after the loop around South Beach, you can find the course map and also register for the race, both options available here: http://www.themiamimarathon.com)
For now, I want to share how was the workout on this short video. We met by the Children’s Museum around 6:30pm. Video is dark but still fun to watch. Where you there?
I know, I am ahead 1 day, making the real count 31days but, the day before of this race already count as a “marathon” -at least for me. Once again, I am glad to be working for this event and this year, I was offered to be one of the Ambassadors. It’s been a few months since I officially started to work and, the closer we get to the race day, the harder we work to make this happens. Past years, I worked in the office few days before the race and I also worked on race day doing videos and photos during the event. This year has been way more intense than last ones and I love it. It’s non-stop working every single weekend to get everyone to know about the race and register.
So the same will happen here! If you like the video attached, you should click and register NOW!
This was fun! Men’s City Challenge Race happened at the Sunlife Stadium. I confess it was harder than I was expecting but I still managed to go over most of the obstacles. I will be posting a video soon but for now, check the images please.

I was kindly invited to attend few classes at this amazing gym located at 7200 Biscayne Blvd and I loved it. The Iron Flower gym is different because it’s focused on women, offering all kinds of classes from Yoga, Pilates to Spinning, Zumba, Kickboxing, etc. The vibe is awesome, decoration makes you feel like you are in a “Barbie doll’s house” and the workout… well… it’s a killer workout. I just want to share some GoPro shots I got while attending 2 different classes. Cardiobox and kickboxing. Both in different days, different instructor, same great vibe! Thank you Iron Flower ♥ I really appreciate the invite.
